The Thunder Lane custom coilover system for the Mazda RX-8 is engineered for drivers who want a suspension that can be built around their goals—from HPDE and autocross to time attack and wheel-to-wheel. Every kit is assembled by hand and valved to match your tire, aero, and grip level.

Designed around usable stroke and predictable damping behavior, this kit delivers confidence at the limit without sacrificing mechanical grip over bumps, curbing, and transitions.

Built to Order — Tuned to Your Mazda RX-8

Each kit is built per order for 2003–2012. Spring rates, valving style, and overall setup are selected using your intended use, ride height goals, and available vehicle data (including corner weights when provided).

Track-focused damping with build-specific tuning

This system focuses on meaningful adjustability that’s easy to dial in at the track. Your damping configuration is selected during the build, then fine-tuned with on-car adjustment to balance grip, response, and stability.
