The Mini Cooper R53 TL-ONE Coilover System is Thunder Lane's track-focused single-adjustable coilover for the 2002–2006 Mini Cooper S — hand-assembled in Poland and valved specifically for the R53's short-wheelbase, front-wheel-drive dynamics.
Built for Racing, Time Attack, Autocross, and HPDE
The R53 rewards a setup that sharpens front-end bite and mid-corner rotation without losing compliance over rough pavement — TL-ONE is valved to improve turn-in and exit traction on both track and aggressive street driving. Every kit can also be valved specifically for street use — the compliance needed for competent track use often makes for a comfortable street ride, since controlling the platform better also controls body motion better on the street.
Technical Specs
- Inverted front struts, 36mm piston / 40mm body
- 20-click rebound adjustment (1-way)
- Independent Ride Height and Travel Adjustment

Construction & Hardware
Front camber plates let you dial in alignment for front-end grip and tire wear management. Inverted struts add rigidity for durability under track load, and every damper is rebuildable and serviceable long-term.
Fitment
Mini Cooper S (R53), 2002–2006.

Yes — configured during the build to match your tire and grip level.
Does the kit include camber adjustment?
Yes, front camber plates are included.
Is this streetable?
